About the Owner:
Molly is the Founder and Owner of Expressions Dance Academy, She has been dancing for 17+ years. Her love of dance began at an early age. She started taking 1 class a week at the age of two, and by the time she was fifteen years old, Molly was taking 9 hours of class a week including, Ballet, Lyrical, Tap, and Jazz. Her training included all forms of dance, cheer, and acrobatics. Molly has been a competitive dancer since the age of seven.
Molly is dedicated to furthering her education in all forms of dance.. Ballet, Tap, Jazz and contemporary being her favorites. Through her life she has been able to work with many professionals, she has studied with former Principal dancer of Bolshoi Ballet, Dmitriy Tuboltsev, who was a student of the Vaganova Academy in St. Pertersburg, Russia, Jenn Parsley, Kyle Hill, Shannon Smith, Anthony Murigerato, Travis Wall, Rustin Matthew, Emily Mikolitch, Sarah Laguardia, Muse Company, and many more. She currently teaches Jazz, Tap, and Competition classes at the studio. She is an inspiration to her students. Molly is involved withThe University of Akron Dance Company, and was involved with cheerleading. Molly continues to travel when possible to boost her knowledge of dance by attending Dance Conventions, and performing at The University of Akron.
Molly has performed competitively for several years. She has performed along side Rythmic Souls a tap company in Dallas, Texas and has had the chance to preform at the Cleveland Cavaliers games. She is dedicated to making sure that everyone is the best dancer they can be. Molly is currently pursuing a major in Dance at The University of Akron and is working towards a masters in Primary Education! in Primary Education! Molly believes that it is her duty as a dance instructor to push her students to reach their fullest potential.
Emily began dancing at the age of 4 and started competing at age 6; earning acknowledgement through many special awards and scholarships. Throughout her many years, she has studied numerous styles including ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, hip-hop, contemporary, and her favorite being musical theater. She has been very fortunate to train under some very influential instructors such as Shannon Smith, Sarah LaGuardia, Victoria Fox, Lindsay Fox, Dmitriy Tuboltsev, Inna Strabrova, and Nate Smith. In addition, Emily travels to take class from some of the country's most renowned dancers/choreographers such as Travis Wall, Stacey Tookey, Jenn Parsley, Mark Goodman, Mark Meismer, and many more. She loves to share her extensive knowledge of dance with students while teaching classes, master classes, and choreographing. Previously, Emily had been apart of the Bowling Green State University dance department. She was also a member of BGSU's University Dance Alliance; a student run organization that holds charity events and performed locally within the Bowling Green area. Emily is currently attending Kent State University where she is majoring in Early Childhood Education. Emily enjoys watching her students grow by instilling elements of confidence, encouragement, and the love of dance!
Shanel O’Connor, of Canal Fulton, began her training at the Ohio Conservatory of Ballet with Inna Stabrova and Dmitriy Tuboltsev. She continued her training there until she moved on to the University of Akron. She is currently a senior studying to recieve her Bachelor in Fine Arts in Dance from the university. Her aspirations include dancing professionally after her graduation and one day pursuing a career in higher education focusing in dance. During Shanel’s time at the University of Akron she has had the opportunity to perform choreography by Stephanie Martinez as well as work with guest choreographer Robert Wesner of Neos Dance Theatre. She has also performed with The University of Akron’s Dance Company, Spring into Dance, and Choreographer’s Workshop.
Missy Finnegan has been dancing since she was three and was trained in ballet, tap, hip hop, jazz and contemporary from Dance Dimensions in Strongsville, Ohio. She attended Magnificat High School and was on the competitive dance team where she obtained experience from conventions and other choreographers. Throughout her ungrad at the University of Dayton, Missy taught Jazz and Technique classes to all levels of dancers through Life Itself Dance, which she had the opportunity to be the Vice President of. This allowed her to plan and run each showcase that took place twice a year. Missy is so excited to join the Expressions Dance Academy and help dancers grow in their technique, performance ability and overall personal confidence!
Kristyn Lein is a dancer originally from Richfield, Ohio. She is a recent graduate of Ohio University with a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography and minor in Psychology. She is currently a full time member of The Movement Project, a modern dance company located in Cleveland, Ohio. She grew up taking dance lessons of all genres including ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, pointe and hip-hop and also competing in those styles once she was in high school. She is very excited to start teaching at Expressions Dance Academy this fall!
Indonesia Clark is from Massillon Ohio where she started gymnastics at Gymnastics of Ohio, Indonesia stayed there for two years before going over to Fantastic Gymnastics and having the opportunity to train with Rodrick Pisani. Indonesia trained with Rodrick for 6 years, afterwards she took part in 2 years of high school gymnastics. Indonesia Clark is a Junior at University of Akron where I am majoring in chemistry in hopes of going to Medical School and becoming an Anesthesiologist. I currently coach gymnastics at the game Meyers Lake YMCA in Canton Ohio. Indonesia is excited to be apart of Expressions to help bring the safety of properly tumbling and helping the girls grow!

Brooke Huzl was born in Akron, OH. She has been dancing since she was three years old. She has spent the last 12 years training at Center Stage Dance Studio in Northfield. She specializes in all styles of dance. In 2015, Brooke attended the summer intensive at the Joffrey Ballet in New York City. This past summer she spent the summer in Los Angeles dancing and training with The MusEffect Company. Over the past two years Brooke has been touring and assisting with Hollywood Connection. She has also been teaching and assisting at her own studio here in Ohio. She is currently in the process of signing with The Movement Talent Agency. Brooke plans on moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in dance.
The founder and director of ELEVĀTED (Hip Hop Dance Company) has been dancing and choreographing in northeast Ohio for over 12 years. Under his leadership, ELEVĀTED placed 4th at World of Dance (Chicago) and Chapkis Collaborations Competition (Chicago) which is a huge feat for an Ohio Hip Hop dance team.
Howard graduated from Lake Erie College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree specializing in choreography and minoring in Entrepreneurial Studies. Within his 12 years of being in the Cleveland area, he has been a special guest teacher/choreographer at Cleveland State University, Hathaway Brown, Padua High School and Brush High School. Howard believes that hip hop dance should serve as a creative and expressive platform that unites all people that shares the love and passion for it.
